2.1 Course Title:        Bachelor of Fine and Applied Art in Painting  

Degree:              B.F.A. (Painting)

Purpose:             The program aims to provide knowledge and practical skills in international Fine and Applied Art with the emphasis on the analysis and creation of works in International Fine and Applied Art with full contents, techniques and methods.  It was integrative with other sciences in terms of multi-knowledge as well as supporting the research procedures in Fine and Applied Art.

Qualification:        Achieve High school degree (equivalent)

GPA:                  At least 2.00 of GPA.

Further Study:      Graduates are able to study further in Master’s degrees related to Fine Arts.

Career:               – Teacher or Lecturer in Educational Institutes

– Scholars of Fine Arts in government, state enterprise, and private sectors

   Freelance in Business of Fine Arts

2.2      Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in English

Degree:                   B.A. (English)

Qualification:   The program requires students with full English background knowledge based on the curriculum of High School and adoring English.

GPA:              At least 2.75 of GPA 

Further Study:Graduates are able to study further in Master’s degrees or Doctorial degrees related to English provided in both domestic and international universities.

2.3      Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in Western Music

Degree:                   B.A. (Western Music)

Purpose:        The program highlights practical skills of musical instruments and band combination.  Students will be specialists in using musical instruments and performing in several bands as well as the ability to record their own and others’ performances.  Students are also able to run business in musical fields.         

Qualification:   1.   Achieving High School degree (equivalent)

2. Having musical background knowledge in both theory and practice.

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA and taking musical practical test

Further Study:Graduates are able to study further in Master’s degrees or Doctorial degrees related to music provided in both domestic and international universities.

Career:          – Teacher/ Lecturer  

  – Musical producer in companies

  – Composer of songs in various kinds of music such as classic, pop, and country

   Professional musician for international standards

  – Producer of songs in various Medias such as movie, advertisement, and radio advertisement.

2.4      Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in Information and Library Science

Degree:                   B.A. (Information and Library Science)

Purpose:        – To produce graduates with a body of knowledge in management, services, and information promote.

    To produce graduates with a body of knowledge in applying appropriate and modern information technology to manage and promote information effectively. 

  To produce graduates with a body of knowledge in careers of information and library science for working in library, learning center, and organization. 

– To produce graduates with leadership characteristics, learning lover, morality, faith and ethics on profession.

                   Qualification:  Achieving High School degree (equivalent)

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA 

Course Period: 4 academic years, 2 semesters a year, and cooperative education at workplaces in the last semester.          

Further Study:Graduates are able to study further in Master’s degrees or Doctorial degrees related to Information Sciences, Information Education, Information Management, Educational Technology, and Information Technology provided in both domestic and international universities.

2.5   Course Title:      Bachelor of Public Administration in Public Administration 

Degree:          B.P.A (Public Administration)

Purpose:        The program emphasizes on interdisciplinary theory by applying a body of knowledge in education and guidance for working improvement.  It provides a teaching process focusing on learners’ characteristics of “Change Agent” and the creation of new concepts in accordance with modern globalization. 

Qualification:  Achieving High School degree (equivalent)

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA 

Further Study:   Applying knowledge in Bachelor’s degree, graduates are able to continue in Master’s degrees of Public Administration and have opportunities to study further in Doctorial degrees provided in both domestic and international universities.                 

Career:          This program produces graduates who are able to work for both government and private sectors.

2.6      Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Management

Degree:          B.A. (Cultural Management)

Purpose:        The program aims to produce graduates who are able to apply knowledge for the management of cultural capital for its social and economical values.  Graduates can be workers for cultural management with full academic knowledge and leaders of local and international culture awareness as well as having morality and ethics for the social strengths. 

Qualification:  

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA

Further study:   Graduates are able to continue in Master’s degrees of Cultural Management or related fields which are normally opened programs in Chulalongkorn University, Thammasart University, Mahidol University, Thanksin University, and Mahasarakharm University.    

Career:          Graduates are able to work in the government and private sectors as follows,

3.       Producers of cultural Medias in radio, television, and printed Medias.

2.7  Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in Community and Organization Development 

Degree:          B.A. (Community and Organization Development)

Purpose:       

1.       The program emphasizes on development of graduates with full body of knowledge, thinking system for community and organization development through learning process, and researching relevant to the needs of organizations and local communities. 

2.       The program emphasizes on producing graduates with morality and public minds, and abilities in applying and integrating knowledge for the development of people, community, and organization.

3.       The program emphasizes on producing graduates having chances to participate in the local development process which is the beginning of sustainable development according to the philosophy of Sufficient Economy. 

Qualification:   Achieving High School degree (equivalent) or students who feel interested in community development.

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA

Further Study: Applying knowledge in Bachelor’s degree, graduates are able to continue in Master’s degrees and have opportunities to study further in Doctorial degrees provided in both domestic and international universities.

2.8      Course Title:  Bachelor of Arts in Business Thai

Degree:          B.A. (Business Thai)

Purpose:        1. To produce graduates with full body of knowledge, understanding and skills in using Thai language for business communication.  

2.       To persuade students to adore and have faith in using Thai language for career.

3.       To produce graduates who are able to apply knowledge of Thai language skills in career for working either in public and government sectors or freelance related to business. 

4.       To produce graduates with awareness of the importance of Thai language as the national identity. 

5.       To produce graduates with broadened views, creative thinking, and self development for living in the society.

Further Study:  Applying knowledge in Bachelor’s degree, graduates are able to continue in Master’s degrees of Thai Language, Literature, Linguistics, and folklore and have opportunities to study further in Doctorial degrees provided in both domestic and international universities.

Qualification: 

1.       To follow regulations of Suratthani Rajabhat University in Bachelor’s degree, 2009

2.       To have at least 2.5 of English GPA or 30 points of English in O-NET test. 

3.       To have Basic English communication.

Purpose:        Learning English in Business situations with emphasis on careers in hotel and tourism, and international works.  

Further study:   Graduates are able to continue in Master’s degrees of English language for communication, Business English, English for Career, and English for Specific Purposes, and English teaching such as Linguistics or Applied Linguistics.

2.10   Course Title:    Bachelor of Arts in Chinese

Degree:          B.A. (Chinese)

Purpose:      To produce graduates with a full set of Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating. Graduates are able to apply knowledge for living and working as well as understanding of Chinese culture, and ability to run business with Chinese people. 

Qualification:  Achieving High School degree (equivalent)

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA 

Highlight:        Third year students have a chance to study in Chinese universities for two years where signed MOU with Suratthani Rajabhat University.

Further study: 

1.       To continue in Master or Doctorial degrees in Thailand

2.       To continue in Master or Doctorial degrees in China where Chinese language assessment (HSK) is provided for indicating high Chinese language standard.

2.11   Course Title:    Bachelor of Political Science in Politics and Governments 

Degree:          B. Pol. Sc. (Politics and Governments)

Philosophy:     Political scientists with soul of Dharma sovereignty who develop society which is the strength of country development. 

Purpose:        The program aims to produce graduates with full knowledge in politics and governments, understanding of political power and power management, leaderships with morality and ethics, ideal and professional ethics, and applying knowledge to meet the needs of the community and organization based on Dharma principles.

Qualification:  Achieving High School degree (equivalent)

GPA:              At least 2.00 of GPA 

Career:  1. Local Affairs Executive Officer (Assistant District Chief Officer, Municipal Clerk, Chief Administrator of the SAO, Chief Administrator of the PAO)
