มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัฒนา รัตนพรหม อธิการบดี มอบหมายให้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ธาตรี คำแหง คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ นำคณาจารย์และบุคลากรของคณะฯ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสืบสานประเพณีสำคัญของท้องถิ่น
👥 ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมพร้อมใจกันสวมใส่ชุดสีขาว อันเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความบริสุทธิ์ ความศรัทธา และความเป็นสิริมงคล เข้าร่วมขบวนแห่อย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ซึ่งเริ่มต้นจากศาลหลักเมืองจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เคลื่อนขบวนแห่ผ้าห่มพระธาตุศรีสุราษฎร์อย่างงดงาม
🚩 ภายในขบวนประกอบด้วย “ผ้าพระบฏ” ที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวพุทธประวัติและพระพุทธเจ้าอย่างวิจิตรบรรจง สะท้อนถึงภูมิปัญญา ศิลปะ และความศรัทธาอันลึกซึ้งของพุทธศาสนิกชนในพื้นที่
🌿 จากนั้นได้อัญเชิญผ้าขึ้นไปห่มพระธาตุศรีสุราษฎร์ ซึ่งประดิษฐานอยู่ ณ ยอดเขาท่าเพชร ตำบลขุนทะเล อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศแห่งศรัทธาและความร่วมแรงร่วมใจของประชาชนทุกภาคส่วน
🙏 กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นภายใต้โครงการ
“แห่ผ้าห่มพระธาตุศรีสุราษฎร์ แลธรรมชาติเขาท่าเพชร ประจำปี 2569”
ซึ่งถือเป็นประเพณีสำคัญที่สะท้อนถึง

✨ การอนุรักษ์และสืบสานขนบธรรมเนียมอันดีงาม
✨ ความร่วมมือระหว่างชุมชนและสถาบันการศึกษา
💛 การเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้ แสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี ในการเป็นสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ที่มุ่งทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม เชื่อมโยงศรัทธา วิถีชีวิต และชุมชนเข้าด้วยกันอย่างยั่งยืน

Suratthani Rajabhat University led by Assistant Professor Dr. Wattana Rattanaprom , President of the
University, assigned Assistant Professor Thatri Khamhaeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and
Social Sciences, to lead faculty member and staff to participate in preserving an important local
cultural tradition.
Participants were dressed in white attire, symbolizing purity, faith, and auspiciousness, as
they joined the grand procession. The procession began at the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine and
gracefully proceeded with the ceremonial cloth procession to Phra That Sri Surat.
The procession featured a sacred
Buddhist scroll known as “Phra Bot,” intricately depicting the life of the Buddha. It reflects the
wisdom, artistry, and profound faith of the local Buddhist community.
Afterwards, the sacred cloth was ceremonially carried up to drape over Phra That Si Surat, which is enshrined on
the summit of Tha Phet Hill, Khun Thale Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province, amid an
atmosphere of faith and unity among people from all sectors.
The activity was organized under the project
“Phra That Sri Surat Cloth Procession and Tha Phet Hill Nature Appreciation Festival 2026,”
which is considered an important tradition that reflects.

The preservation and continuation of valuable cultural traditions
Collaboration between the community and educational institutions
This participation reflects the role of Surat Thani Rajabhat University as a higher education institution
for local development, committed to preserving arts and culture, and sustainably connecting faith,
